The School of Wisdom celebrates the natural sacred times of the Earth - the Solstices and Equinoxes. You are invited to join with us in these celebrations by using the Messages below. Feel free to adopt these Messages to suit your own celebrations and rituals. They were all received by Professor Arnold Keyserling of Vienna, Austria, up to his death in September 2005. The messages which follow that time were prepared by one of Arnold's friends and students, Árpád Romándy, a Chi Kung master in Vienna, Austria.

Join with your friends, and use these messages, and special times of the year, as an opportunity for personal growth, a chance to get to know yourself better, to get to know your friends better, and to better understand why you were born, what special gifts you have for this world. If you get the gist of the Messages, and sincerely try and partake of its spirit, you can open yourself to an enriching experience - potentially at least, a profound event.

MESSAGE FOR THE FESTIVAL OF THE NATURE SPIRITS
Meditation on the Power of the South West

Question: Friend in the Universe, we ask you the question, how can we prepare for the South West Festival in the Year of the Moon (imagination) and celebrate it with our friends?
Answer: The Feast of the South-West in the Year of the Moon demands from us to let go of all our fears that keep us from living and acting out of our motivations. Everyday life often makes our world tiny and narrow, and then we live in the illusion of having to do everything by ourselves, alone. But whatever we do, we don't do it solely in a state of being awake. To be whole and work in the Whole, we have to open ourselves to the Dream and its motivations.
Each of the four functions of sensing, feeling, thinking and willing has a correspondent being/creature in the Dream - Troll, Dwarf, Fairy and Elf. Whenever our everyday life comes down purely to work in order to survive, we have to let them speak to us and lend their wings to whatever we are doing.
The Trolls support us in our practical work. The Dwarfs help us along in our thinking and lead us to unexpected solutions. The Fairies demolish the wrong picture we often have of ourselves and are the ones who enable access to the energy of our wishes. The Elves bring joy with them whenever we invite them.
Fear should never hinder - it demands courage to stand up to oneself; it demands courage to acknowledge the Dream and these beings, and to live out of our motivations. The Earth is behind our motives, so, in basing our actions on our inner motives, we make our contribution to the Work of the Earth.
Nothing is as solid as it seems to be. When we live as if behind a mirror in our thoughts and emotions - when we fall into feelings like fear, anger, despair or uncertainty and forget the vastness of the earth, her magic and beauty - then we must start to remember the Dream as a complement to our waking life. Dreaming gives us the energy to change reality and be light. When our steps are light, we are able to act. The Spirits are always present. They give us strength, send us impulses and ideas, and help us to work for Earth and Nature. However, we have to respect them, to think of them and to call them.
One of the four - Troll, Dwarf, Fairy or Elf - is our special friend. We remember the name, (or let a name surface if we don't have one yet), and call to our friend in the seventh step of the invocation.
Nature's Spirits show their work in our being lucky; they appear in the opportunities that open up all of a sudden - in the moments when everything runs smoothly and things start to come together. When things work well without us having to put any effort into it, they are with us. It is important that we remember those moments of lucky coincidences, let go of our fears and are courageous in the acknowledgement of the Spirits in being lucky.
I close my eyes and see myself in front of the surface of a lake. I touch it with my finger. The lake's surface opens and suddenly I see myself in the lake, under water, looking at a vast landscape. What feelings arise looking at it? This landscape is the place where I encounter the Spirits from the other side. Do I see something that can be a sign or help for the steps I have to take in the weeks to come? Whatever I see, I must be careful - I must not take the help of the Spirits as something meant for me, alone. I must understand it in the context of my work for the Whole, otherwise I lose my way and place myself out of the big connection with everything.
Only Dreaming makes us awake. Only through including the Spirits can we create reality. Energy, courage and enthusiasm come to us who trust in them.
MESSAGE FOR THE WEST FESTIVAL OF THE MINERALS
Meditation on the Power of the West

Question: Friend in the Universe, we ask you the question, how can we prepare for the West Festival in the Year of the Moon (imagination) and celebrate it with our friends?
Answer: The Feast of the West in the Year of the Moon requires the realization that nothing must determine your spiritual way; it must be unconditioned. All fears, illusions, concepts and ideas that impede you in saying "yes" to yourself and to your way must to be overcome.
The West is the direction where you stand up for your life. It gets nourished out of the infinite possibilities which stream out of the inexhaustible reservoir of the East and are there, accessible in every moment. The voice of revelation speaks from the East. From the East the images emerge which you then actualize in the West and bring into reality through your choice and your action.
Choice and decision to act become possible through the liberation of your attention and the clearance of your motivation. In order to achieve this, you sense your breath, letting it go down to reach the centre of the Earth. The Earth then speaks to you and leads you to the true motivation of your Self - that which connects your actions with the Whole.
Illusion is a confounding of your ideas and self-images with reality. Reality is always the "not-yet", the unforeseen - that which unfolds in the moment. There is no conditionality in willing, and no planning. Your past coined your life, but in the present every step is new and leads into the unknown. Always, then, when you risk a step that stems from pure willing, it tunes you into the stream of divine revelation and the great community of all beings.
The immortal inner being grows in the image of the crystal; it is the Philosopher's Stone produced through the work of the Earth. Work is no means for survival; it starts with the motivations of the Earth and contributes to the formation of true community - the community of human subjects who face God as the Great Subject.
In the evening you stand in front of the closed entrance to a mountain cave. Which word arises in your consciousness that will open the entrance to the cave? You speak it out, enter the cave and see a crystal you grab and take out of the cave. With this crystal you point to the horizon. Which image or symbol emerges there, in the twilight, giving you a sign that shows the way from the affirmation of your "I" to the becoming of your essential inner being?
You are the one who chooses. You stand up for the "I" formed from choice to choice and from decision to decision. Responsibility for "I" means not only taking care of your own thoughts and actions, but also caring for all fellow beings. Today in the West, through the affirmation of the acting "I" and your devotion to the world, you commence your way back - the way back to the union in the origin that underlies all being.

Question: Friend in the Universe, we ask you the question, how can we prepare for the North West Festival and celebrate it with our friends?
Answer: With the beginning of the Aquarian Age the relationship between man and God has fundamentally changed. Faith and obedience are no longer demanded. Human beings now work together with God through understanding their potential and by making their contribution to the work of the earth.
God is man's friend. God will support us as friend whenever we ask ourselves how the unfolding of our potential can be useful to the community of all beings.
The flow of information streaming out of the divine origin is limitless. I close myself to this divine flow when I experience the world as being profane, or when I fall into despair or into other negative emotions that darken my mind. But once I'm aware that whatever happens in my life, it points to a certain direction and, once I start to ask, I can perceive the voice of God. God is the one who is fostering my special potential and is helping me to realize my place in the community of all beings.
Every human being has an angel. Angels are God's messengers. They are the ones helping us to tune into the stream of divine information when we are in danger of losing ourselves. The angels listen to our calls. Whenever I have the feeling of getting lost and do not know how to carry on, I call my angel's name and try to sense his presence. Then, I can find my way again and see the next steps I have to take.
My life forms a path. When did I have the feeling of being guided on that path? What were the most important moments in my life when I felt open and in communication with God? When could I act out of that openness? What are my innermost wishes and how do they show my possible contribution to the work of the earth?
I imagine the way in front of me, stretching out into infinity, and I look along this way to the horizon. What vision emerges there? This vision is the symbol for the steps to be taken by me in the future, so that my personal way can merge with the Great Way.
In the Aquarian Age it is necessary to trace back all information to its divine origin. God and my inner being are the same. True information and true knowledge free the inner subject and enable real dialogue. Thus we can experience the connection to the whole, to God and to the community of all beings. Then, we can combine the motives of the earth with the visions of heaven, and be part of the great community where all beings support and acknowledge each other in their special contribution within the common work.

Meditation on the Power of Animals, and Wisdom

Question: Friend in the Universe, we ask you the question, how can we prepare for the North Festival and celebrate it with our friends?
Answer: The Feast of the North is the Feast of Wisdom and the Abundance of Light. At the time of the winter solstice we have received a seed of light and, subsequently, we have unfolded it through six stages. This fully developed seed of light now connects heaven and earth, and is part of our contribution to the work of the earth.
Can I find a word or an image for this unfolded seed of light? What had its beginning at the Feast of the Return of the Light, and now has found its full development? By finding a name or an image for it, I consciously can start to understand what it is that makes up my way, and how it connects with the whole.
This radiant light also forms a path. It originates in the centre of the earth and connects with the Polar Star as the centre of heaven. The North demands that we get rid of preconceptions and identifications. Then, we can experience the origins of our thinking in the unfathomable dark of the centre, and we can understand it as a means to bring the visions of heaven to earth.
Right thinking creates clear connections and relations, and leads into the silence that antedates every important step. Clarity does not come out of the accumulation of knowledge; it comes out of the understanding that thinking is a possible opening into the realm of the inner silence and the void.
But reaching this realm is not the goal. This realm - all underlying creative space - is our starting point, the beginning of our way and origin of our actions. Only through our actions can our inner being grow; and then through the connection of the motivations that come out of the earth with the visions that originate in heaven does our inner being get nourished.
Today we find ourselves in the north of the circle of the year. The earth is speaking to us today and heaven is open. We concentrate ourselves on the centre of the earth and try to hear what the earth is trying to tell us. Whatever comes up - word, image, thought or feeling - makes us ready to receive the vision of the Polar Star. This vision then shows us our role and our task in the community of all beings.
The Yijing says, "Don't be sad; you have to be like the sun in the middle of the day". The state of Abundance is not permanent. Whatever we achieve are only moments of abundance. But these moments are important when we see our personal way simultaneously as a task we must fulfil. Then, my radiating light can be part of the great spiritual chain of beings, and can help bring about the New Age.

Question: Friend in the Universe, we ask you the question, how can we prepare for the East Festival and celebrate it with our friends?
Answer: In the year of the moon it is important to make the "I" (or "my person") ready for the light and vision of the east. The east is the direction of revelation and the gate to the 9 numbers. Whatever inspiration and renewal streams out of the east is structured through the numbers. Our "I" gets born and renewed in the east, and reflection of the numbers helps to maintain its openness and transparency.
The "I" makes a twofold connection: firstly with revelation and the voice of the divine, which helps us to overcome stagnation and, secondly, with our fellow beings which enables true communication.
My "I" and also my speech originate in the east. They are, through being grounded in the emptiness of the 0, receptive. The natural numbers all arise from 0, so in our actions we are numbers and unfold according to the map of the Wheel.
To be a human being means, in being and doing, to connect heaven and earth, to connect "this side" and "the other side". So I ask: by which number does the divine get accessible and comprehensible for me? I spontaneously let a vision emerge from within, out of the moment, as a symbol for the divine and try to understand its numerical structure. This, then, is my personal access to the voice and the renewing vision of the east.
The "I" arises of the east and through the diagonal of The Wheel it gets connected to the west and "thee" (the "you"). This is why the number is not only the opening to God and revelation, but also the meeting with "Thou" (the "You") and fellow beings.
What does my number mean in respect to "Thou"? Through understanding this relationship between my number and "Thou" I can bring the inspiration of the east to my daily work and fulfil my role in the work of the earth.
We are always connected and live in the whole. Every idea, every occurrence, every meeting can talk to us as the living voice of the east. We only have to be willing to be aware of and to accept the meaning that unfolds in every given moment. It is not consciousness but awareness that carries us; awareness rooted in the living number and the infinite potentialities of the 0.
In the Aquarian age we are friends and fellow workers of God. Through reflection on and confidence in the original qualities that constantly unfold in the world, we can, as an "I" apart from our personal and collective history, make that friendship real and also tune in with our "doing" in the inexhaustible possibilities of the moment.
MESSAGE FOR THE NEW YEAR CELEBRATION OF THE SOUTH EAST

February 4, 2006:Beginning of a New Aquarian Year of IMAGINATION
Question: Friend in the Universe, we ask you the question, how can we prepare for the South East Festival and celebrate it with our friends?
Answer: In the year of the moon in the decennium of the moon it is essentially important to clarify our imagination so nothing can obstruct our way. We set out a long time ago and our way stretches vastly ahead. The way is not a known and already travelled one. It leads into the unknown for every one of us.
Inspiration is of decisive importance with that. Inspiration that originates in memory is not fertile and cannot support us. Only in taking up on the questions of those who already paved their way into the unknown and who talk to us from the future it can carry us and show us the direction.
Future unfolds in the act of walking. The footsteps of the ancestors mark the direction for us and we can follow them for a while, but then we have to find our own way.
Which of my wishes holds a feeling for my way? Who among the ancestors is convincing for me and is a symbol of my potential development? Which of my thoughts come to me from the future?
When mistaking the dimension of everyday life for the whole, the inner dialogue blocks the access to my inner being. But in opening myself, every word, fleeting thoughts or even whole sentences can serve as a mirror to allow me a glance at the gestalt I slowly become in walking my way.
Which word can carry me this year? I let a word or a sentence come up out of the inner darkness and then try to understand who in the past has been a carrier of that impulse. These ancestors are then the helpers on my way and their impulse can strengthen mine on my way into the future and into the unknown.
We are not creative out of our own. We are only creative merging with the stream of energy originating in the centre of the earth and linking heaven and earth. Spirit is eternal future and we in paving our way into the unknown at the same time pave the way for spirit on to earth.
We have infinitely much time for that. Nothing urges us, nothing drives us on, but every step on our way means progress in the work of the earth. Clarifying our imagination regularly and relating it to the inner silence and darkness out of which the true questions emerge, we can contribute to a world that mirrors the light of spirit in clarity and whose embodiment increases the beauty of the earth.

Question: Friend in the Universe, we ask you the question, how can we prepare for the North West Festival and celebrate it with our friends?
NOTE: This message, and those above, were provided by Árpád Romándy.
Answer: Solstice is a time of returning light. In the I Ching this is symbolized by hexagram 24, fu - returning. It is the beginning movement of light in absolute darkness, the first seed of yang within the yin. This seed of light has to be taken care of and nourished in order to grow. In the wheel today is the South, the realm of holy plants and the soul. Like the one tiny yang starting to sprout within the yin, we have to find our own seed of light within our soul. In order to find it we first have to let go of all worries and identifications, and enter into a state of serenity and silence. Only the dark can receive the light; only through diving into the inner void can we find that inner seed of light which can lead us in our growth.
Growing is twofold. We grow from the core of our being from the earth towards heaven. We link heaven and earth as human beings. We also grow horizontally in our relationship to our fellow beings. Only through receiving the light is it possible to grow.
The world's oldest known megalithic tomb, Newgrange, situated northwest of Dublin, Ireland, is both a tomb and a calendar built to celebrate the Winter Solstice.
At the winter Solstice people gather there, inside the tomb, to experience the one ray of light coming in through an opening in the wall only at that exact time. The rest of the year the inside rooms of Newgrange are dark. Archaeologists believe that the ancient builders of Newgrange considered the Solstice ray of light a symbol of the connection between the ancestors and their descendants still on this earth. This is what linking of heaven and earth is all about; taking inspirations from the other world, from the pool of ancestors, to help us grow.
In order to have inspiration, you must first ask. The innocence of the trees means to be open, not to base yourself on opinions and beliefs, but just be open and ask out of the center of your being. Then the answer will come. So you have to ask yourself what is the question that comes to you in moments of silence or moments of total darkness?
We grow vertically as a "who" and feed ourselves from heaven. In our vertical growth we always oscillate between the chakras, as all the chakras are the colorful aspects of the white light. We can ask ourselves which color represents that "who", that subject at the moment, and then try to understand it through it's connection with the whole.
We are also a horizontal "what" fulfilling a certain role in the world. Again we can ask which of the colors of the zodiac corresponds to our role in the world. In order not to lose our self in everyday existence we have to understand our role as a persona where that one seed of light shines through in what we do. The Age of Aquarius is in the sixth house of mankind, so we have to work. But only if our work is based on transparency, on that connection to the inner void and the seed of light that can then shine through, will we add to the beauty of the world.

Answer: The North celebration in the year 2005 (a year for Understanding) means, that we open ourselves to contact with the animals and nature, in order to recieve spiritual help from our higher powers and to work with them.
The North celebration means that we understand mentally our meaning. The north is called clarity and understanding. Everyone selects for themself one of the nine numbers, and carries it as a signature. Whoever selects a 1, sees their role in making things complete and in healing. Whoever takes the number 2 , finds their role in preventing and overcoming difficulties.
Those who select 1, see their role in healing and helping. Who takes the 2 understand and overcome obstacles. Those with 3, become clear about the beginnings, the goals and methodologies. Those with 4 understand requests as common direction. The 4 as the basis shows the way out, the 5 brings a practical methodology, the 6 holds together with others. The new will brought by the 7. The 8 shows how I can make the work useful and helpful, and those with an initiative will use the 9.
We feel into the fire, and then transform our realization into a dance, into which our friends will join. In the common meal we are pleased about the friends, and imagine the spiri and the good help it will bring us. Feel the joy over the celebration and the common meal.

Question: Friend in the Universe, we ask you the question, how can we prepare for the North East Festival and celebrate it with our friends?
Answer: The North Eastern festival is the point in time where the germs of beauty and creativity are revealed. In the year of Uranus it means to receive the inspiration from Time. Where can I take part in the beautification of life on Earth?
The germs of creativity become accessible. Look at your circle of work, the things you can do, and see how you can participate to this beautification. Choose a number as a sign for role and wear it during the celebration. Also wear an article of clothing or bring something which makes your intention clear. "Beautification" means to take the "given" as your material, and look for ways to add to it.
At the fire before the prayer, and at the dance afterwards, look at the numbers of others and pair up with those whose addition to your number creates 10. Also search for those with whom you have not previously had much contact. Who will become a friend, who can you help, and what can you do? What new possibilites are open to join with your friends? The carriers of number 1 should search for opportunities to intervene in a healing way. The holders of 2 should look for the germs and starting points.
Inspiration will come out of the dance. Wait for inspiration and express it in movement and gesture. Understand your role is in the beautification process by movements, and then still more inspiration will come.
The fullness of time is now revealed. The seeds for your coming creativity are known. The dance expresses the joy that comes from your friends and the Earth.

Question: Friend in the Universe, we ask you the question, how can we prepare for the East Festival and celebrate it with our friends?
Answer: The East celebration 2005 means that we understand the connection between world history and spiritual history. In the East celebration a new revelation comes which replaces the former one. How can we understand our small history in the frame of the great one.
Like the celebration, each of us becomes a carrier of a definite impulse. What is my impulse? Is it connection? Is it opening to something new? The frame of the Wheel is nine-fold. This moment demands that we clarify our carrying role. Is my new way healing, creativity or cognition? Is it caring for others? Does it demand courage and initiative? Initiative means that we clarify our individual role. Is my impulse to make something whole, or is it creativity? Is it to care for all of the duties given to us? How can we find them? Where do our efforts find a response in other people and other places? The "what" am I must become a "who." My "who" is found through clarification of concepts. It means "how can I collaborate with others."
The world is full of storms. The new inspiration is also like a storm when I am carried away by it. Which of the new impulses will carry me personally? How can I recognize the task which comes to me at the Earth Sanctuary (place in Vienna where all of the Feasts are held). Let us think of a sentence which will grasp this impetus. By dance we try to express the assorted movements. Everyone tries to find an answer. What can I add to my efforts so that the wind of inspiration becomes a storm that will clear away all anxieties?

Feast of the New Year of Understanding (Uranus),
Number 6 and Power of the ANCESTORS

QUESTION: Man in the Universe we ask you for a message on how we can prepare for the South East festival to begin the Uranus Year of 2005 and celebrate it with our friends?
ANSWER: The South East festival connects us with the traditions of the Ancestors. This year the preparations are finished, and concentration on the new aim begins. The national history is gone and the planetary task appears, each person in his or her own way. Each person has, just like his or her own individuality and past, a certain task for the coming time.
What is this task? The individual becomes conscious of his or her membership in humanity. Everybody is a measure of the whole universe. The year 2005 is a time of historical transformation, the end of one era and beginning of a new. The time of the parties is over, the common good comes into the foreground. Solidarity will appear in place of discussions. Every single person is both an individual and a tool.
What is your tool? How can you collaborate with the communion of free and liberated people? You must first recognize who you are. You need to understand your position in context of the entire history of humanity, stretching back 11,000 years ago when we first became human, though all of your incarnations. Then you can see clearly how every individual is a carrier of the Work. Work is objectively defined.
How can your disposition and realization be furthering for others? You are the fruit of your history, which should now find its role in the whole. Each person strives to become a cosmic individual, to live as a certain potentiality. Only if you stand up for your singularity can you become a real man or woman (a real "mensch"). Then you will accept your role for others on the same level as your personal wishes and expectations. Your wish is to transform your disposition into a Way that goes together with others, and to sense that new way. This happens through inspirations. Inspiration appears when the future is not dictated by a plan, but appears just like a melody of life.
What are your fundamental motives? Where are you useful to others? What do you strive for yourself? Clarity, knowledge of the conditions by which your wishes and expectations can coincide with the general ones. Uranus means that you must represent your lifeline as a whole and must understand all events as part of this melody. Where are you happy? Where are you angry with yourself? If you do not succeed in clarifying your way so that it appears obvious to others, there can be no community.

Question: Man in the Universe, we ask you for a message, how can we prepare for the North Feast in the Venus Year 2004 and celebrate it with our friends?
Answer:The North Feast means the inspiration of wisdom and creativity. We have the ciphers of wisdom in our consciousness. To celebrate this feast you must recognize the structure of the ciphers. In the beginning of the Venus Year the planet Venus was visible in the sun. This means we have to decipher her message.
The structure of the creative principles of the Aquarian Age is hidden behind our awareness. In this epoch Man finally becomes adult and so everybody must now find their personal way to the Inexhaustible Source. The key to the principles of creation are again discovered this year. Everybody is called to be a co-creator and with this to penetrate to their inner-godhood. It lies in the acting nothingness of the everything. The nothing creates the reality in both the cosmos and our awareness. The creative chaos becomes a cosmos where the light of knowledge falls upon it. So you must first catch the nothing and send our your awareness into the emptiness. It brings back the elements of being. Being is that which is. But the experience of its germination comes to us through activity.
In the feast the north is the wisdom of the animals by which the opposition between the species and the individual is overcome. We will become conscious of our animalness at the beginning of the feast and remember our special animal. (For example): Arnold Keyserling's personal task as a frog (his animal) is by fantasy to unite the water of the world with the reality of his friends. To the frog both consciousness levels, left and right, space and reality, are materials of creation. Thus at the beginning of the feast Arnold will try to discover how his frogness can decipher from out of the water the alphabet of the world. (You should do a similar cipher exercise with your particular animal.)
Everybody dances their animal and tries to realize how the meaning of the dance shows them a way to truth. You see in front of you many pieces of wood dancing in the air which will come together to form a building, a building of your being. Just like the body surrounds the soul, the characteristics of your inspirations will show where you are striving to go. You cannot see it, but have to blindly realize it by touch.
The reality is the society in freedom where each finds their task and vocation. To make this possible you have to have the right language and action. The alphabet of the world appears to us in the night heaven. Through Venus it shows its course. The course is where our activity has to start. Feast means the union of twoness. Right and left, yang and yin, become Tao. The Tao is all beings and people in common. It is the home where we try to attain the original state. The nothingness we experience as black attentivety. The being we experience as lightening which lights up the darkness. We have to respect the dark. The light only shows from time to time, it cannot carry us.
Where are my pillars? They are in space. They articulate the nothingness in potentialities, like the charkas in the body, or the stars in the night sky. You must understand the figures. To understand it is a message. There appears a circle with many crosses, the Wheel. This symbol leads me and my colleagues to the next step, not as a counsel, but as a calling: how to make the easiness of being sensible, and overcome sorrows? When your body enjoys that it becomes a bridge between earth and heaven. Be attentive to your animalness. The animal symbol shows everybody their way.

Answer:The East Feast means access to revelation. In this year of Venus we must understand how to transform the richness of our vision into action. The world situation is made up by quarrels, so begin by clearing your mind of all quarrelsome thoughts. Focus instead on the work of developing the earth and humanity.
In the Aquarian Age everybody finds their own way to God and the Infinite. Every finite aim endangers our direction. Only infinity and effortlessness furthers our way. It starts with what necessity. What is necessary for us to change? The greatest despair comes from lack of courage, a wrong idea that you cannot face a situation.
During the Eastern Feast the heavens are open. Although the aim is not yet visible, the next step out of the revelation is accessible. Step means to start in a movement, and avoid stoppages as an enemy. Do this by not trying to act out purpose - just act! The way is filled by the going. At the beginning you must tune into the movement of your special way. Everybody is called to realize their own way, and to contribute to the work of the earth. How do you find this way? You stop and look for inspiration. What hinders you on your way? The wrong ideas about attainable success.
We are late on the earth and so must understand the voice of leadership. This voice calls for not stopping and no fear. You are carried by the Universe, and all spirits help you. If you succumb to anxiety, you lose sight of what is coming. Think of the sun which rises over a mountain. First there is a foggy glow, then appears the great roundness, and with its full view all fear is lost. Know that you are carried by the unknown direction. The more you go on with a blind eye, the more confidence you will have in your feet to carry you in the direction for which you have come into the world. We are all comrades into the way of the plenitude. The world is rich, and we are rich as soon as we understand all events as destiny.
The leadership of the heavens never leaves us, but it is not seen, only sensed. You must develop a second awareness that will never vanish. Remember how you have always found the connection before, that will help you, and don't follow any ideas of failure. Have confidence in leadership from beyond to overcome all stoppages. You take part in the fullness of revelation as soon as you understand every event as a destiny which the helping spirits allow you to recognize. Up to the next Feast look for unforeseeable events and talks to confirm us in our way.
Nothing can stop our alarm as soon as the first step is taken. With every step comes a pause where the new thing announces itself. Be attentive to that, and never lose the assuredness that the Universe means well for us, so long as we remain open to the question of how inspiration helps us to take the next step. Think of your next step in advance, but don't over-think your past actions. Take your inspirations and create from them images of the future. Visualize and feel the joy with others that will come when we help each other on our way. The stoppages are overcome individually, but then the connection with the group appears which unites their force with our way and ends all doubt.
Take an object, of stone or metal. Sense it during the invocation and allow it to talk to you. After the fire and the dance, try to express the words you have heard internally by a mimic and in movement. For this day you are heavenly actors who feel their role in all and everything and create it.

Answer:The South East feast in Aquarius 2004 means that a new historical epoch is beginning. Things, material objects, will become symbols of spiritual decisions.
Look for an object which gives you security, helps you to keep a clean conscience and sleep well. This object may be a half jewel, or an especially beautiful natural stone. Go though the City and look for where it waits for you. Is it round, or does it have corners? If it is round, then you can trust it. If it has corners, you must name every corner, and then form a sentence which unites these significations. In either event write down on a piece of paper what this jewel, rock or stone means to you. Then before the invocation gives this paper to the fire. At the same time speak out the sentence so that it goes up with the fire.
Essentially this is the year to sanctify things which you select, especially things in mineral form.
During the invocation keep the stone in the right hand, and then throw it into the fire when you speak the sentence. You have given the thing to the fire, but you will not forget its signification, which means a decision. It contains a happy message which you can talk about with your friends afterwards.
In this year, the year of Venus, things with which you get in touch will talk to you, and show you their significance.

Answer: The South Feast means the return of the light. The world has become dark, and with your help we have to get the light again. Light means to see the way in order to walk on it. What is the way? It means to change step by step your moments into meaningful happenings. A happening is a time experience which describes the direction, as well as the aim. The aim in the Jupiter year is to win and fortify your confidence that the way carries us.
When your outer experiences bring only heavy difficulties into the foreground, you have to concentrate on that which is light. Light make you laugh with pleasure. Not a nasty laugh, like in the bad experience of someone else, but full of love.
South means confidence and innocence. The I Ching announces that through return one becomes free of guilt, just like a child whom everybody wishes well. Search in your intentions where you wish well to others, and then unite with this aim all the happenings, the thread, which you will receive from above. Catch this thread and your steps will no longer meander, but will change into a guided road. The road of your life will bring fulfillment from out of the beyond. Don’t worry because every difficulty is a door to new experiences and achievements.
The actual state now is like a road crossing. The new intuition comes perpendicular to the former direction and will transform the heavy into the easy. You will see it through the fact that your friends will meet you always with more joy. You will take your role as the consoler and give it a name. How would you explain yourself to a being from another star?
Be a new person who like a shooting star appears and gives people the joy to know that there is something, not “what” but “that” there is something. Everything will connect for the good. As a aside, you have already experienced this in a dream, in a vision.

From the trolls what is difficult becomes easy. The dwarfs show the right solution of all problems. The fairies give courage to dare new ventures. The elves of fire show the roles in the feasts and the celebration of community.
They are the helpers of Mother Earth when we are in the axis of Mother Earth, Being in the Universe, and the Self in the middle (ie – Earth – Self - Universe).
The four helpers of Mother Earth support us in daily life when we don’t lose the relation to the Being in the Universe. Thus we go into the Anahata chakra, the center of our body, and from there we sink down into the Mother Earth, and then we rise up into the heavens and come back into our body center.

Answer: In the year of Jupiter each must penetrate from their person to their self. What is my highest possibility? How can I make it useful and helpful to my neighbors?
Begin by remembering a moment in your childhood where it became clear that you could realize something special, that you were born with a task and profession. Now try to formulate what this task might be. The disorder of everyday life lets the task become unclear. You must transform the fog into the way of the Sun. Everything seems clear, but only in lightening-like inspirations. The time is ripe for you to enter the community with your full potential, with all of your history and heritage, and also your past experiences and difficulties, up to the light image which in the future appears to you.
Feel your calling to make the individuation capable of community. How can you become useful to others? Wherein lies your specialty? You know the history in the great connection, both personally and collectively, but what is the next step for you, and the common will? The common will aims towards the global culture which includes all motives. The wealth of the world will become accessible to everybody. Your head symbolizes the Earth. You take part in all of its richness. As dark as the situation might seem now, it is the evening before the great awakening. You must expect this awakening. It will come to you. You cannot force it, you can only get to it by moving. Everybody is now called to understand their own destiny as a part of the great community. In the becoming it will appear to us just like the church bells which make us attentive that this is the moment of awakening.
Who are you? What are you? You are the person who unites history with the future. The way towards this is language. The clarification of the past will end in making that which has to be created. The work is in communion. For the moment the future way seems like it is hidden by fog, but just now, in this moment, the concentration towards the coming is possible. You must expect the coming, but you cannot invent it. Friends will come and everybody will experience joy. For the moment you must see that the banal times will become fecund times. You have to let go of all sorrows. From moment to moment the future of humanity will become clearer. Everybody must penetrate to their self and try to understand their role in the great world theatre, to play it, and to see others as future comrades in the game.
No boundary may hinder the way. The karma of the past is gone. We are in the evening, in a moment of peace, in preparation for the task which will pose itself for each of one of us in our own frame. Let go of planning and thinking beforehand. The world realizes itself without need of that. Your inner voice will take the need away, also if lack of courage, like a thunderstorm, seems to hide the view of the coming world. As soon as you sense that the past does not act anymore then the real future will begin to carry you which will fulfill all destines. There is no average life anymore. Everybody is special. Everybody is a member of the species. The coming realization demands courage and faith. Courage to see in the fog the contours of the coming. Faith that it will be good, as soon as all people profess to be co-workers of the Earth, and follow their inspiration from moment to moment and what they understand as their next step.

Question: We ask the Man in the Universe for a message on how we can prepare in the Jupiter year of 2003 for the North Eastern (Number 9) feast and celebrate it with our friends?
Answer: The North East feast is the feast of the senses and the Beauty. Everyone should buy or take an object for this day. The Man in the Universe announces: “the world must become beautiful, and each little thing which we contribute to this beauty will let us come nearer to the beauty of heaven.” The sensation of the five senses shows the entrance. In all traditions the future and heavenly world is characterized by beauty. The beauty seems hidden, it only reveals itself to a question such as “how can I change my sense into windows and recognize the truth of reality?”
Whoever experiences the vision of the heavenly world is astounded by its beauty. We must find an object which will show this beauty, in stone, wood or metal. Look for this before the feast and then hold it in your hand during the feast. At the sanctuary (place where you have the ritual/feast) you ask it “what is my being, how can I lead my life in beauty?” Then hold the object and with drumming see the beauty of the world and the people with you. At the fire (before the invocation) try to formulate the revealing being in a sentence. (Then later, after the invocation, dance and sing this sentence.)
The feast is related to the beyond. It is the 9th feast of Space, the opening for everything new. All bad remnants disappear. You will be clarified and realize the beauty of your friends. Then throw the object (stone, wood or metal) into the fire (again, just before the invocation), and see how the flames carry its spirit upwards. The word or sentence you receive should be taken as a key to the future. Say it at certain times and listen to the answer.
At the invocation lead the sentence or word through all chakras, up to sahasara. You will then understand how to use the phrase as a key when everyday life and drudgery makes you sad.
In the common dance and meal (after the invocation) share joy with others and listen to the inspiration which will come to show you a new doorway to beauty.

ANSWER: The East Feast is a time where the inspiration and revelation you receive can be tested. This year it is important for each person to find their individuality, their archetype.
We are not a group, nor religion, nor a political party, but we will become servants between heaven and earth. Earth means that we understand our motivations, heaven, that as soon as we ask, task and profession will reveal themselves without doubt. The time is ripe. Each person becomes a bridge, carried from below, but illuminated from above, so as to clearly know their way. The way does not reveal itself as a given track, but as the next step along a path which transforms the circle of life into a spiral, a spiral where the end is higher than the beginning. Let us remember all those events which, unforeseeable to us, gave us a new starting point and the courage to start to walk, even when we did not know where the way would lead us. The going is the essential thing. The aims appear from time to time.
The important thing in walking is the interval, the emptiness between now and the future by which we will be tuned into the infinity of the whole. The nothingness which unites the somethings, the happenings or decisions, is at the same time the plenitude. The leading will never stop. We know it when we ask why a happening always leads us back to the way. There are no negative happenings, but only dark moments as a precondition of a new light which like lightening will let us see the great landscape.
Everybody is a bridge between earth and heaven. The earth is the starting point, the heaven is the aim. Everything which happens is a simile for what is going to come. The lightening strikes are at first like jumps, then they will turn into a musical harmony out of tone and interval, out of experience and inspiration, as a road on which we grow as single individuals into a part of the great community in freedom.
Each day brings us a new inspiration and sign. The Friend in the Universe speaks to us, calls us to do what is necessary, that which will transform the need. Each step is equally essential because the light of life will appear from the steps you have made. The carrier is not a plan, but trust that every happening will lead us always nearer to the meaning that we in our inner being understand, the joy of being in community.
What was the last thing that gave us a new direction? Can you presume the next step, or is it simply so unprepared that it is as if we were walking with closed eyes? The East Feast gives the confidence that the inspirations do not come from fantasy or random chance, but are the way our life will become radiating, until it unites with the great road of lights of the Universe.

ANSWER: The year of Jupiter means that everybody has to penetrate to their archetype, their highest possibility, and make it conscious. Therefore before the invocation write a sentence on a piece of paper which summarizes what you now know about your archetype. Then give it to the fire so that it rises up with the heat.
“Archetype” means what you have experienced before birth as a vocation, whether in a mythical or allegorical mode. In this year of the Aquarian Age the archetype is reached. You will find the possibility of realization. The sentence you write down should next be reduced to a numerical symbol. In the invocation lead this symbol through all of the chakras.
Jupiter is the planet of plenitude and generosity, not only for others, but especially for yourself. In this moment abandon all feelings of inferiority. Try to see yourself in an image which makes visible your task and vocation. Think of moments where friends have recognized and confirmed you and thank them for their love. Everybody is called to be the best in their field. There is no second one. Everybody is a superlative.
After the invocation use gestures like an actor to try and show this role because “persona” originally meant that which “sounds” through you. In the Jupiterian person every small courage is gone, the original will be experienced directly. Thus for the rest of the feast represent this person as a theatrical scene.
At the end select a stone, and take it with you to hold the memory. Then in the future as soon as you touch the stone in your pocket the image of your superlative archetype will appear. Before the invocation when you choose the corresponding number, put it on your clothing. At the dance, at the end of the feast, look for others with a number that added to yours will make 10.
The image you receive will last for the whole year. Thus whenever you are depressed in the next year, reach for the stone. It will remind you of yourself, and speak to you. Listen to its indications.

Answer: The South Feast is the feast of the returning light. Whatever this year has brought in experiences, successes and sufferings, will become material for a new self-realization. Each should look for a wish of their being. Write it down on a piece of paper to give to the fire so that the wish goes to heaven.
In the invocation lead this word (summarizing the wish) up to the top. Then be glad about the clarity this will bring concerning your next steps in the coming year. The purpose is to unite the spiritual way and practical life in a vision, not logically, but in an image, in whatever image may appear to you.
After the invocation at the fire you can deepen the experience and bring it to expression in gestures (through dance). Be glad together with others. Everybody for this night are “double people” because the way of life, and the way of the spirit, will complete each other. You will feel how you are carried by the beyond and give thanks for everything which has happened up to now. Because when you understand it, even partially, you see it has all changed for the good.
Then at the common meal, sit with people who you do not know that well. Try to feel their presence, their being, so that the meeting will be a start for the great Community. In the Aquarian Age this Community is our fate.

Question: Man in the Universe, how can we concentrate on the South Western feast in the Solar Year 2002 and celebrate it with our friends? We ask for a message.
Answer: The Feast of the Elementals in this Solar Year is of special importance. Now that the way up to the light is finally free, the carriers of the force must come to our aid – the trolls of the earth, the dwarfs of the air, the fairies of the water, and the elves of the fire. The new peace does not come from above, but from down through the help of the earth.
All ideologies have ended in fortifying fundamentalism. This false individualism can only be overcome with the help of the earth spirits. Thus we ask the trolls to take care that no man made catastrophe sabotages the force of nature. We ask the dwarfs to clarify all of the illusionary endeavors, so that clarity will be revealed to everybody who searches. Through the trolls the relation to the earth is established, through the fairies the dreams of the water come in consonance with the cosmos. Through the dwarfs we have the intelligence and capacity to penetrate all false solutions. With the help of the elves we will enter the fairy dance of the spirits as men between heaven and earth, and take our place, fulfill it and realize it.
At the beginning by the fire decide which elemental is your personal friend and gives you force. Then ask what hinders you from fulfilling your task? Write down the obstacles and doubts on a piece of paper to give to the fire. While the flames go up to the heaven experience that all of these difficulties will be solved. It becomes clear that all people of the world of Aquarius celebrate with us. Expect then an inspiration in the form of a symbol or word which will make understandable your role as an joyful actor in the great drama of life. With this symbol or word go to the stone circle, and lead it through each chakra up to the highest of the union of everything.
In the joy of this communion go to the feast and dance. The drums will tune your hearts into the great world rhythm. Look at all of your friends in their beauty, confirm them and yourself so that the communion of a community in freedom will dissolve all sadness, and take away all dirt and obstacles, destroy all weaknesses, and add all this to the original world force. In the dance we will become conscious that our joy is shared by all of our heavenly colleagues, and all beings of the earth. No worry need remain because the elementals have taken care of it. Our motivations will be added to the striving as a force, so that serenity will end in real joy of being. Make images of the earth spirits and look at them and how they will be accepted by the people of the other side. The joy comes from behind and down, and thereby the connection to earthly business will be saved.

Question: Man in the Universe, how can we prepare for the Western Feast in the Solar year 2002 and celebrate it with our friends?
Answer: The West Feast in the Solar year of the Aquarian times means that our Community will become conscious of being carriers of the new time, and to understand its own role, task and profession. The “seeing” that what is meaningful for me must be useful for others, not only for other people, but for the whole of nature, the transcendence is through nature and the community of striving people, is to be reached in the same way. Communion is more than community and society. It means consonance with the Great Whole.
At the beginning, by the fire, ask yourself the question, which symbol will show me my role in the great Communion. All small endeavors, fundamentalist, religious and ideological groups who represent their partial truth as the whole truth will be overcome in this feast. Where do others acknowledge me in my cosmic role, in my neighborliness. In Vienna it is our task to become prototypes of the emerging ecumenical, to include everything, and to find in each cut-off factor, the relation to the whole.
Question of every individual: how can I serve the totality? Again choose a symbol out of the nine numbers, and try to understand in this symbol your cosmic role and tell it to others. Who chooses 1 is responsible for the overcoming of separation and manifoldness. Who takes 2 senses the inner relation of heaven and earth, heaven and hell, in the communion. Everything on earth is a simile of the cosmos. Who is open to 3 recognizes his starting point of evolution. He defines what his starting position is, recognizes the aim behind it, and concentrates on the methods of realization. Who chooses 4 must create a place which helps other people - for us (Vienna community) the Earth Sanctuary. People of 5 must consider themselves as normal, and capable of changing every work day into a feast day, as soon as the inner necessity announces itself. Who chooses 6 has to create a community with his or her friends in a conversation group. The person of 7 must take emerging inspiration as his life-line. The 8th one has to bring this into a public forum. The person of 9 clarifies conception which shows the meaning of the new time which is evident for them - not out of logic, but out of free inspiration.

The Number 8, the Direction of the North West, and Power of the Angels
For: August 7, 2002 - Solar Year (Awareness/Essence)
Question: Man in the Universe, we ask you for a message, how can we prepare for the North Western (Number 8 - the Angels) Feast 2002 in the Solar Year and celebrate it with our friends?
Answer: The feast of the seventh of August is called in Persia the “Great Resurrection.” It was celebrated for the first time in 1164 on the mountain fortress of Alamouth. The Great Resurrection means that each person can hear the voice of the divine, and no messenger is necessary. In this Solar year this means that you have to find your capacity which comes from Being.
Which capacity comes from your Being? In this year your personal disposition becomes the tool of your profession for which you have striven for many decades. Everyone is chosen as soon as they take on their calling. Think by the fire of a word which might point out your task. Is it a choice? Is it a decision? Is it a happening? Whatever it is, before the invocation, write down the word you select. During the invocation lead the word through all of the chakras and get an answer from each Power.

You are to write down the ten words that come to you in the invocation, and later sing them and deepen your understanding of the 10 messages. Moreover, you are to connect your first being-capacity word, and the 10 words thereafter, to the center of the earth, and thereby root them in your being. Also, you are to choose your own first name for God. That solidifies your personal connection.
You thereby have created 12 names/signs - a vision for your future. (The first key word, that expresses your capacity from being, then the 10 words that come to you during the invocation from each of the 10 Powers, then finally, your personal first name for God.) These12 words/messages become all important to you over the next twelve months, even more important than the next 10 rituals. Use them to guide you, and they will eliminate dissonance between your spiritual mission and worldy life. During the end dance, you are to sing your 12 words to each other. You will be set free in spirit to accomplish your true life goals.
It will now go more easily, (here I can pick up most of the balance of the Message translation) . . . and your future suffering and problems will become steps for new possibilities and achievements. Be joyful and guard against all negative thoughts. Before the ritual write down your main sorrows and sadness on a piece of paper and release them by tossing them in the fire. The fire will unite with your vision of light (the 12). The inspiration will now lead at each time and opportunity. From this point forward your life will be filled with grace, and not be a simple sequence of events. By actively positing sense and meaning to your life your way will become steps to heaven.

The Number 4, the Direction of the North, and Power of the Animals and Wisdom
For: June 21, 2002 - Solar Year
QUESTION: Man in the Universe, we ask you for a message, how should we prepare for the North Feast in the Solar year 2002, and celebrate it with our friends?
ANSWER: The North feast shows the relation to the Polar Star, and therewith to the Milky Way. It is the feast of wisdom. Wisdom means that all knowledge becomes filled with meaning. At the beginning ponder what knowledge can become a starting point of wisdom. Where has your knowledge become know-how?
How can you be sure not to lose the Way anymore? In the night of St. John the heavens open and the darkness reveals itself as the origin of light. I take black as a starting point and change it into brilliance. In the brilliance I see a sequence of lights on a black background. At what light do I stop for a moment? At light number twenty two. That is the number of the fool (in tarot - “the person who understands in humor truth as simile”). What of all of the things I do is really nonsensical, and can be changed to make sense? The darkness carries, the chaos engenders the spiritual organism. Thus I expect at this feast to have my next steps revealed in the form of lightening-like inspirations.
In the night of St. John all spirits become visible. How is the spirit called which leads me now? He is called “Ephraim” (Jewish name for “fecundity, creativity, which is attainable beyond the seven in this feast when we transform meaningless ideas into gold, into values”), the one who reveals the meaning of all manifestations. Thus I say Ephraim 22 times and wait. In front of me appears lightening which touches me out of the depths of the fullness of the night, and gives me the security that my way is right.
Each one will see lightening by listening to the sound of the drums (played prior to the invocation while gathered around a fire). With the image that comes with the lightening, go to the stone circle (place for invocation) and lead the lightening through the eight forces (8 directions). Ascend the steps and their sequence though the body, from the muladhara chakra (1s) up to sahasara (7th chakra).
This is a day when all fear and anxiety go away. You will feel carried. At the fire, before the invocation, take a name for the light. Then hear this name at the invocation in all chakras. Remember the words which will come to you and connect them through a poem. Later at the fire you can write this down. All such words are symbols, the meaning of which will reveal itself as path signs through the unconscious darkness. At the end, at the meal and dance, you will feel that all anxiety has left you, and that the future has been transformed from a stony ascension, into a clear way. The way mirrors the light of the stars, so that you can always find the next step.

In this feast of the 9 the Being in the Universe announces that the world must become beautiful. For this we have to express the beauty of being and Work. Beauty means to give a soul to reality and to understand its inner harmony. In this solar year of the beginning of the Aquarian Age this means to take something beautiful this day and wear it. So take flowers and colors because beauty is primarily perceived by the eyes.
This is also the feast of sensation and the senses. Everything strives for fullness and plenitude. So as a first step at the fire we have to realize that each of us takes part in the plenitude in a special way. Choose for this day a special piece of beautiful jewelry to wear, and then later give to your Earth shrine in order to remember, as we have learned from the Africans, that there is no scarcity. The mental representation of scarcity comes from false experience.
9 is the Fulfillment of numbers as principles of creation. Its plenitude is found in the 10 which articulates the perpendicular axis. This jewel will take its role through our decision. We will complete unblessed moments through deepening into the fullness of relations, so that we are whole – just like God is a whole, the world, the earth and the Universe. In awareness of our striving, we experience the wholeness of the Universe as our home, out of which we never fall. We articulate our striving in a symbol or word which we will experience at the fire and then lead it during the invocation through all the steps.
Each ritual changes everyday into beauty. Thus we take the experienced message of our way and try to remember during the year that all oppressiveness and suffering is illusion. These illusions will be dispelled by memory of being in the wholeness of the entire Universe.

ANSWER: The South East Feast in the Solar Year means a year when each person can penetrate to their being. The community of Aquarian neighborliness allows everybody to find and realize their own profession and task in the world. Down at the fire, before the ritual, think for a while of the times you could really shine and were sure of yourself. Then connect these moments of awakening into a story and remember the dates. Now it is necessary to feel absolutely well in your body, and to sense that the Ancestors will help us in the Work as soon as we ask them.
Next think of three people who have furthered your development. From out of the image of these three create a symbol of our future way. First take a number and consider what it means. Come with a number and wear it. Take all interpretations you know about this number and use them to try and comprehend the task before you.
Bring a crystal with you to the invocation and hold it in your left hand. During the invocation lead the symbol you created of your future way through all ten steps/chakras. Then try in dance and gesture to make this symbol visible to others. With the help of the Elementals you will remember the symbol until the Jupiter Feast next year. In this way your medicine will be useful and helpful for others and the world. Have faith in your inspiration. Write it down after the dance. Whenever you are overcome by sorrow use a mantra - symbol and number - formulated from out of these before your inner eye and ear. God leads us through the sign as soon as we take the first step.
The next day think of your ancestors and vouch for them a candle or a flower that you think of as often as possible. With this your dream body of the night will unite with the sun body of waking consciousness. You have, so to say, fulfilled the chemical marriage for the birth of a new being. Until the next feast (spring equinox) look for all coincidences and speak about them with our friends.

Answer: Return of light in the year of Pluto means that the second biography of life will carry you. Each person is twice born. The first time from mother, and the second time in the awakening of being through mission. In the Pluto year the relation to history is very important. Where does my work fit into the spirit of the times? How can I participate better?
In this feast think not of past sorrows, humiliations or failures. Only remember the sequence of moments of light in life up to today. The being is beyond suffering. Even in difficult hours, in times or trouble or misery, recognize what is really important because this will change the misery. We all have misery, but it never refers to our spiritual evolution, only to social and economic failings. These failing also have positive significance in that they force us to return to what we can do positively, which always has its roots in a need.
Before the invocation remember three moments from the past where you were completely content, and two moments where you experienced luck and joy directly as a gift of the beyond. Make signs on a piece of paper which symbolize all these false complexes. Give them to the fire which always comes out of being and free-will. Then try to define your deepest desire. Ask the Powers of transcendence to help you to never forget this desire, to have it always remain accessible to you, and become a part of your mission. All wishes finally aim at the union with the divine origin and the harmony and fulfillment of humanity. On this feast we think of all of our real friends as companions on the way to fulfillment.
Next, invent for this desire, this positive expectation, a symbol. During the invocation lead it through all chakras and articulate the messages received from the Powers. Repeat the Message from each Power so that the desire becomes part of living memory, and the association of mechanical memory remains behind us without hating them. Each error is finally a step to existential truth. You simply have to let go of false expectations. That is what is meant by “Innocence” in the I Ching, Book of Changes. By turning around you become free from guilt. It is not part of the real history, but only a step in ascension where we will view our life from a higher level until your whole life at the hour of death will appear as a street of light.

Answer: The South West Feast in the Year of Pluto signifies that the Elemental Spirits help you to find your place in the Great Work. They help you to have success and luck with all enterprises that are in consonance with this intention.
Who is your friend among the Earth Spirits? Is it a Troll of the earth? They help you to master seemingly difficult circumstances, and always find a way out, and courage. Is it a Dwarf of the air and the depths? They let you see the solution of difficult problems, like lightening inspiration? Is it a Fairy of the water? They strengthen your feelings, and real wishes of being that lead to fulfilment. Is it an Elf of the fire? They make you capable, in time, to restart parties with friends, in serenity, and in that way to transform everyday drudgery into a street of lights?
At the beginning at the fire consider where you have luck and do not despair. Where do you have confidence that the Powers of the Beyond will help you, together with those of the earth, to become a link between earth and heaven. Try and figure out which one of the four is your special friend. Do you have luck in practical life? Then a Troll is your next friend. If you always find solutions when complex events seem to drown you, then search for your friend among the Dwarfs. If you succeed in helping seemingly hopeless souls to find the light, the wish which comes from the depths, and which inspires the heart, then thank your Fairy. If the usual world becomes too mechanical and sterile, then look for Elves and find those who will help you to change the course of time into music.
Next choose a name for your earthly helper. Write it on a piece of paper, and give it to the fire so that they go up to heaven. Then they will never leave you again. Use this name during the invocation to go through all the chakras, and listen to the messages of the Powers of Beyond. Ask at the same time how you can help others who have lost their way or who have doubts in their task. You all are called in the year of Pluto to become a mentor, not a leader, but somebody who shows the way, who helps others to combination and insight.
The way goes from down to above. Be happy about your lowliness. It is the starting point of the way which leads up. During the feast have images of the Elemental about. Each person should also wear on their clothes a symbol of their helper, so that others can recognize their role. The Dwarfs help the Trolls. The Elves give serenity to the Fairies (who are very often sad). In the group dance after the meal look for a partner with a complementary helper and dance with them to the sound of the scared drum. Be glad because no bad memories, expectations or solace will appear in you. The earth during this holy ritual will be part of the heavenly dance. This is usually experienced only after death, and yet now, you can already hope to see the real future of what the heaven will give you beyond all expectations.

EDITORS PRELIMINARY COMMENT: The ritual of the West, of the Mountains, takes place world-wide on Sunday, September 23, 2001, but can be celebrated at any time thereafter. First the first time that I can recall the Message received as a guide for this group meditation refers to a tragic event of the world, namely the World Trade Center disaster of September 11th. ("As of the 11th of September the conflict between spiritual evolution and fundamentalist ideologies became world wide. Now you must involve yourself personally in this conflict.") Study of this text, coupled with "carrying out" this meditation, can help you to better understand the significance of this tragedy and how it has both changed history, and our individual consciousness.
Because I think this message is so important, I have been more "liberal" than usual in my editing of the English translation which Arnold gave me of the German original. My intent is to make this message more accessible, clear, and intelligible to others. From a global perspective this means the beginning of a new opposition. The opposition between West and East changes into North and South. From this point forward civilization will be carried by individuals who pioneer groups from out of their personal experience of God (rather than ideological beliefs). Justice in the New Age is the ideal of law protecting human rights and obligations. During this feast try to understand where and how you are already a part of this new movement for justice, and are thus not carried away by the world wide South-North conflict. Question: Man in the Universe, we ask you for a message, how can we prepare for the North Western (Number 8) Feast and celebrate it with our friends?
Answer: In Persia this is the most important ritual of the year. The Sufis call it the "Great Resurrection." The time of God as Law Giver, and as Faith, following the moral precepts of the prophets, is gone. This was announced by Hassan - i - Sabah, the "Old Man of the Mountain", on the 7th of August 1164 at the Fortress of Alamouth. He announced that the time of the religion of obedience was gone, and everyone had to discover God in him or herself. Since that time for the Sufis God has not been a Lawgiver, but a friend of Man, who helps everyone in their being and vocation. The community of the faithful was transformed into the Society of the Friends of God. In this Pluto Year of the Aquarian Age this is of decisive meaning. Not ideology, but confirmation of every Man as a friend of God, not depending on revelation. With this the Feast goes beyond the local Persian meaning. In Austria we will also observe this ritual on a mountain fortress.
God is no longer experienced as opposite to us, but as with us, in communion with all beings of nature. The people of the Aquarian Age are no longer masters of nature and the earth, but collaborators in the work of the earth. Therefore it is important before the feast to try and discover where and how each person understands his or her vocation in the work of the earth. Then one has to sacrifice all past sufferings and take it as a token for new luck. The luck and joy, the participation in heaven, is a gift. It is not the result of effort. The recognized vocation, or way, should be written down on a piece of paper and given to the fire before the invocation. One should take a symbol you have chosen for it, and treat the symbol as a question for the powers of transcendence, for all ten steps of the invocation. Then use the symbol during the invocation to help you to listen to the answers in the chakras.
After the invocation, at the common meal, be joyful, for the time of little sorrows and preoccupations is over for all of us who have recognized that they are members of the earth, the spirits and ancestors.

Answer: The North creates the relation to the Polar Star, to Paradise. The North Feast creates communion with the Animals. The Animals have the knowledge, they never fall out of cosmic order. Their survival instinct, self organization, and species instinct are always in equilibrium.
First ponder at the fire where you have confidence in your ability to survive, and where you are useful for the community. Then concentrate on your power animal. If you do not know it, use Animal Cards (random selection) to find it now. Next think how this animal could be your teacher; think of its environment and manner of life. Then look to a problem or purpose which does, or should, occupy you at that moment. Write this purpose or problem down in two words that correspond to the survival instinct, and social instinct, and give it to the fire. Then invent a symbol which includes those words. Join this new symbol in your mind with a physical representation or figure of your power animal, which you have previously selected and brought with you to the feast, a drawing or model. Hold this during the invocation.
In all of the 10 steps listen to and remember the messages of the Powers. After that, before the meal, try to express the animal in gesture and movement. Write the name of your animal on paper and wear it so that everyone can see it. Then with dance and drumming meditate on your power animal and ask it to be a healer and helper. With its help you can also help others.
Animals are joyful. No sadness! Dress with joy to express your renewed communion. In the next days look for more visions which relate to your new inspiration.

Answer:The East Feast in the Year of Pluto is the moment of balance of day and night. It demands from us that we unite our day and night sides, and bring right and left into equilibrium.
Before the ritual try and define your main polarities and oppositions, and look for a common symbol which unites both. Pluto is the script writer and producer of the project of life. Find a project which makes it possible to transform all of your real life oppositions into a play with other people, and find a symbol for that union: a number, a sign, a word, or a sentence.
At the fire write down your oppositions on a piece of paper and give it to the fire. Then during the invocation lead the symbol or sign through all of the ten steps, and listen to the messages of the transcendental Powers.
Synthesis is more difficult than opposition. The East is the force of the creative and of creation. You will get the answers. After the invocation, with the meal, dance and drumming, try and express the symbol in gesture. By this you will become one with the image.
East is the fire. So each participant takes a burning candle into the stone circle. The flame carries their symbol. The symbol leads to a decision which becomes a resolution of your will.

Answer: Be full of confidence in this year of Pluto when planet and sign coincide. This is a year where you can make common decisions. How can we make the work productive, and our mastery useful to others?
First, at the fire, everyone should concentrate on determining what their best field is. Which capacity has become playful? Then write down five aspects of this mastery on a piece of paper and give it to the fire, not to finish it, but to unite with the flame in the direction of heaven. The mastery must become understandable to others. Articulate your capacity, your being in knowledge, with a word. Then, during the invocation, experience how each of the Powers beyond is of help to us. Try to transform the inspirations from each step into a word. Then after eating transform the 10 words you experienced into a poem or song, and then, with drumming, to dance that song. This allows you to penetrate to your Song of Essence which will then accompany you for the whole year.
The future has begun. Pluto, the planet of our times, is accessible to everyone. I am not only master, but also producer and choreographer, in order to get in tune with the spiritual receptivity of others, until all friends penetrate into the joy of being. The new time is carried by living pillars. It is all those who have penetrated into motivation and intention, the primordial force and light. This does not happen in consciousness, but by direct perception in the senses. How does it taste? How does my task smell? How can I describe it with sensations? Answer: The South Feast is the return of the light. The light symbolizes the heavenly spark which in this moment will become the carrier of our being. The light which appears, corresponding to the returning sun, is the positive role of the community of Man in freedom.
At the beginning of the ritual we forgive all those people and circumstances which hurt us, and brought us into danger of losing our way. We write these moments on a piece of paper and give it to the fire. Through burning the wrong energy will become part of the great energy of the cosmos. This light being will have re-found its communion with earth, heaven, friends and spirits.
What is my light? This question will become our proposition. We sense ourselves as light. Each will participate in the circle of stone with a burning candle. Each says their name, in spirit, during all of the steps of the invocation, and listens to all of the answers on how to realize their light being. At the invocation each then puts their candle in the direction they have chosen. Then listen to the different advice given by all of the Powers and start to interpret the meaning.
Each person is their first name, also for God, and as such, during the meal and dance after the invocation, will see how they can express their being. We have ourselves chosen this name when we came onto this earth. When we have sealed our way with this name, then, from this moment onwards, no force, and no seduction, can take us from our way.
Think about the meaning of your name, and help your friends, until we are sure that this name will, starting from now, take away all despair and despondency in the eternal dance of the creative spirits.

the Elementals and the Number 7
Question: Man in the Universe, how can we prepare for the South Western Feast in the Saturn year 2000 and celebrate it with our friends?
Answer: The South West Feast 2000 in the Saturn year signifies the return of magical thought on all levels. Magic is direct perception, immediate action. The Spirits come back, and along with the Elementals, will help you to find your courage and luck. If you have luck in practical matters then its a Troll; if your helper is in fantasy and drea, and you can trust your emotions, then it is a Fairy; when you can, like lightening, find solutions to problems which seem unsolvable for rational and causal thinking, then it is the Dwarf; and when you party with friends in peace and joy, then your helpers are the Elves. The four Elementals - the Trolls of the Earth, the Dwarves of the Air and thinking, Fairies of Water and Fog - expect you to become players with them just like the Elves of the Fire.
Magic is communion with nature and creation in direct action. Therefore before the ritual begins think who is your friend: a Troll, Dwarf, Fairy or Elf; and carry their image with you. Next, you need to understand how seeming catastrophic events are in reality openings for you to take a new way. Give your Earth Spirit a name which you will not forget anymore. With this name go to the invocation and listen for how the help of the Spirits will come to you from the eight directions and the ten chakras.
The four correspond in heaven to the archangels (in Christianity: Uriel - the Light of God; Raphael - God heals; Michael - like God; Gabriel - the word of God) who Gurdjieff called the World-Quarter-Conservators. If you respect these four you can experience magical help in all situations. It originates through the decision and the cognition and knowledge of the Elementals. With the return of magical thought the rainbow will again become a carrier. Colors, tones, tastes - all the senses - reveal the beauty of the world. Luck you then have when you become able, through your work, to augment the beauty of the Earth.
This is the happiest feast of all eight rituals in the cycle of the year. After the invocation, in drumming, you must breathe in consciously with joy. You have again become players with the Spirits and the Powers. Think of all of the friends in other places who are feastng with you from afar. Though this magic a holy network originates which will carry you in communion on both earth and heaven.

Celebration of the Minerals
and the Power of the West (# 2)
Question: Man in the Universe, how can we prepare for the Western Feast in the Saturn year 2000 and celebrate it with our friends?
Answer: The West Feast in the year of Saturn means the transformation of society from prophesy based to vocation based. Each person who finds their task and style in life, and limits their style of life to the necessities, will have luck and joy. The fundamentalists are losing all force. In their place comes the connectivity of friendship, where each helps the other in vocation and service. Society will transform from class-based, to a society of masters, apprentices and "companions", where companions are those prepared to prove their will in mastery - the "zeitzkommen" (literally "time-coming" which means the union of Potentiality and Being).
Each person who attains their inner emptiness finds a fountain of force and inspiration. They will be carried by the original force of the Earth, and by the original light of the Polar Star. All real oppositions will then become productive. The hand of the Sun, and the hand of the Moon - reality and dream - will become the polar fields of force: in the beyond Wakan (Great Spirit) and Skan (Sky) (Lakota - Native American terms); and, in society, Yang and Yin. Penetrating decisions comes through the resolution to finally leave behind everything which is superfluous. Before the Feast figure out what is superfluous in your life style, and what is necessary because it is part of your task, vocation or professional way.
In the next month it is important to start new initiatives to make the Wheel of "becoming human" accessible to everybody, and to understand God ultimately as the Being in the Universe, not only to accept Him, but to represent Him. Not only do mistakes and bad circumstances have to be given up, but also all recriminations. For if society articulates itself according to the Eightfold responsibility, all problems become solvable. Although its not now readily apparent, a period of well being starts with this Feast. Everyone will be able to find their life through understanding, not only as it concerns their personal existence, but also their friends and soul-groups. All will understand their number, and their meaning in all words, by the inspirational forces which come to them through their chakras during the ten step invocation.
After that, at the common meal and dance, try and give expression to the joy of knowing that the time of useless suffering is finally over. Carry your number (from the prior feast), and for fulfillment, look for others whose number combines with your own to form 10: 6 and 4, 7 and 3, 8 and 2, 9 and 1, 5 and 5, 7 and 2 and 1, etc. We expect the cosmical change, not as something which just comes from the outside like an accident, but as our next step.
SUMMER SOLSTICE 2000 MESSAGE
The Feast of the North, #4, Wisdom and the Animal Powers
Question: How can we tune into the Saturn Year 2000 North Feast and celebrate it with our friends?
Answer: The main polarity of the last 2500 years, known mythically as the Age of Pisces, was between Religion (Spirit Feeling) and the Economy (Spirit Sensing). In the end the Economy became powerful. In our New Age, known mythically as Aquarius, the polarity is between "Normalization" (Body Willing), and "finding your personal way in friendship" (Body Thinking). The main drive or impulse of this New Age (Aquarius - Body Thinking) is symbolized in mythology by the distant, dark planet of "Pluto". In today's technical terms Pluto means to understand the world as "Information". The polar complement in myth to Pluto is the Sun, whose home is in Body Willing, known as Leo. Today the human drives symbolized by the Sun, as they are in polarity with Pluto, understanding the world as information, means to know your inner star and vision, and be clear about its own absurdity.
The progress through incarnations relates to the task with which an individual is born, but it takes time to become aware of it. In northern Europe, on this night of St. John, the fire of vitality becomes accessible as the fire of sensuality unites with the fire of spiritual inspiration (Sun).
By the fire, before the invocation, try to get a hunch of which word or image is a hidden symbol of your life task. It relates to one of the nine numbers that always underlie the rituals. Clarify which number is adaptable now to your task:
the 1 of feeling;
2 of creativity;
3 of combination, development;
4 of attuning to family;
5 of finding a material position which will be recognized as a "norm" by others;
6 as inspiration through those Ancestors which for us have a special meaning;
7 as striving for luck, with the help of the Elementals;
8 as that possibility which will make your life fruitful for community; or,
9 as the project of new existence which will take all parts of the heritage.Prepare symbols, numbers or figures, which should strengthen your will for the Feast. Don't worry this time about the past or about failing. Then you will feel that with the longest day the whole of heaven wishes you well, and tries to overcome your lack of clarity. You are the carriers of the new time. You need have no fear or guilt. The I Ching says through "turning" you will become free from guilt. You do this by giving up all negative expectations. Then the spirits of the North, of Wisdom, can use the Symbol you found to manifest, and free you from the lack of clarity that hinders your view.
In the invocation listen to the symbol speak to you through all ten steps. After the invocation, with the drums and dance by the fire, feel how your movements become part of the heavenly dance. Think of the Sun, and its counter-pole, the black sun (Pluto), which inspires you. Try to see the beauty in each person and affirm it. Then in spirit jump over the fire!
It is enough to visualize the fire of the earth and the sun in spirit, vitality and inspiration. The innocence is the premise of the "Well" in the I Ching which out of the center of the earth brings you those inspirations which will become the vehicle of your vocation and profession.

Celebration of the Muses
and the Power of the North East (# 9)
Question: We ask the Man in the Universe how we should prepare for the North East (Number 9) festival in the Saturn Year 2000 and celebrate it with our friends?
Answer: The North East feast is a ritual of the Muses of beauty and wisdom. In the Saturn Year it asks everybody to delve into the circumstances of their existence. We must make our personal starting point, and our vocation, necessary steps on the way to beauty, on the way to that harmony which next year will enable us to find real participation in the great work of the Earth.
Saturn is the symbol of the Golden Age where all conflicts recede, humanity find its highest expression, and everyone fulfills their potentialities in an open society. Dress for this ritual in such a way that your outer form and gesture correspond with your inner being. For this you have to buy new clothes, clothing which you never previously had the courage to buy. It may also be a jewel, piece of cloth, chain, or a special stone which you will keep in your left hand during the ritual so that through it the revelation will penetrate up to the creative form.
Art means to transform matter into a form which enables you to vibrate in the rhythm of the cosmos. At the fire in the beginning, each should put to them self the questions: "When was my expression in correspondence with my being?" "When did I feel absolutely well?" "Did it depend on circumstances, or friends, or from a personal decision?" As with the beginning of the Aquarian Age (February 4, 1962) at this time all of the lower planets, except for the moon, are in one sign, in Taurus. This means we can make practical, creative decisions for the future. It is like the place of origin of two great rivers, where each flows down from the same mountains in two different directions. Inspiration will takes us over when we listen to it, or when we clarify and articulate it in front of our inner eye.
Make yourself an image of how you would like to be viewed by others. Try to recognize the obstacles which have, until now, opposed the union of your being and form. Ask yourself "Where am I beautiful?" "Where can I discard ugliness from my existence?" For the organizers it may be meaningful to have some pieces or cloth or objects which people can take as a symbol if they have not yet found their signature. Take a word or an image which will transform the symbol into a bridge to the beyond.
Starting from today all sadness, all misfortune, belongs to the past – if you listen sincerely in the invocation to the answers of the North East spirits in the different chakras and steps. After that try to make a poem connecting these images or words, and to form an "essence song" from this (as in the Native American tradition). Then, at the dance and the drums, sing that song. Be glad about the beauty of others, so that they may wake up out of despondency, self pity and identification with bad circumstances. Venus belongs to this day. Perhaps you will find a mask which like in the Greek theater will transform you into a representative of the chosen God or Goddess.

Festival of Fire
and the Power of the East
The celebration of the East is the time/space for reawakening the connection between the reality of the world and the transcendence. In this "Saturn" year (a year of career-responsibility) the East ritual means a time/space to either: find your basic revelation, or if you have that already, to use your revelation to transform your worldly profession, and put it in better alignment with your "spiritual vocation."
Prior to the invocation, when near the fire, remember the many false steps you have taken to find your true way. Thank your teachers, ancestors and masters who prepared you to listen to the call of the divine. Think of the many friends who confirmed your life so that you did not lose your way. Then recall five inspiring synchronicities that happened to you in the past to reveal the correctness of your way. Leave all fears behind because from this day forward you will always have the force to try to do the right thing.
Next ask yourself two questions. Who am I? and What am I? In the circle during the invocation listen to the Answers that come to these questions from the ten steps. Try to remember these Answers. It might be good to write them down immediately thereafter, or to design them, so that you won't forget them for the whole year up till the next ritual of the East (Spring Equinox).
Saturn in myth meant a golden era where everything was good due to cosmic justice. Take the preparedness that comes to you from this East celebration and use it to during the year. Use it to transform everything that happens to you into a positive inspiration, no matter how difficult it may look in the moment. During this year also try to remember all of the things that you have forgotten to do correctly so far in your life, and try to make them well again. Know your responsibility. Do you have the position and power to fulfill your spiritual work? Do you have to give up any superfluous things, or start into unknown directions?
Next think of the number from the last celebration. Try to fortify it and understand it. Allow your spiritual work, your higher vocation, to become part of the sense of that number. Have confidence that each step you take in this work will lead in the right direction. Wear that number on your shirt so that others can ask you if they can have help in their spiritual vocation from that symbol.
The Equinox, the point of Spring, is a time for understanding that the plenitude of the New Age can be realized in beauty. What can you do tomorrow to make life more beautiful? Have flowers around and pick one to add to the number on your shirt. This symbolizes your capacity, like the flower, to unite the growing light of the sun with the spiritual light.

This celebration is of special significance for humanity. This year the three world religions, and the three ways to participate in the divine, will be transformed decisively.For the Christian it is realization of the fact that God is not the avenger. God will instead be recognized as the love in which everybody can participate.
For the Mahayana Buddhist it is the final revelation that the purpose of each being is to find their Buddha nature, their illumination, and to take care that their way is free of obstacles for others.
For Islam it is the recognition that the white light of the revelation of the Prophet will enable everybody to follow their own inspiration as the way. The difference between accepting tradition and realization of self will vanish for the one who searches.
For all three it means the end of fundamentalism - the belief system of an all saving truth which excludes others. Instead of the three ways of love, illumination, and human brotherhood of understanding inspirations, there now comes the one way of participation in the fullness of the "Being in the Universe". Starting from now everything which exists is related to God. There is no manifestation which will not point to this aim.
The "magical pearl" in the heart of each person will obliterate the small image of ego that causes sadness. Motives and intentions, Self and I, will become the carrier of a community in peace which includes all beings.
The development of natural science has shown that music is the common denominator for all striving. Its basis is the tuning of the mind visualized in the Wheel. Thus the Socratic method of maieutics, the search for wisdom, comes to a new step which will overcome all opposition.
